Almost at Wales’ most south-westerly
point and within The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with
its stunning landscape of rugged cliffs, sandy beaches and
rolling countryside, The Old School is conveniently situated
on the edge of Marloes.
A pleasant, short stroll will lead you straight
to the heart of the village, where you will find a friendly
shop and post office, which sells newspapers and magazines,
groceries and fresh produce. There is also a playing field,
children’s play park, café and pub.
The café, ‘The Clockhouse’, is a daytime
café which serves excellent, locally sourced and home-cooked
food. It also has B&B rooms.
The village pub, The Lobster Pot, serves
bar food and has an evening restaurant. It has a beer garden,
SKY TV, darts and a pool table. There are also rooms for B&B.
Marloes Sands is about a 20 minutes walk
from The Old School or a very short drive away. Other beaches
close by are Musselwick Sands and Westdale Bay.
Dale is about five minutes by car and Little
Haven, Broad Haven and Haverfordwest are all in easy reach.
